Amber Avenue Fluro Skirts

Tried Amber Avenue's Skirt the other day cos I was attracted to the bright colour.

Material is thin and without lining. Lime Green is more sheer than Hot Pink probably due to the colour. Material is stretchable. Have a feeling colour will run when wash though.

Lime Green tried was in Size S. Tried Hot Pink in Size M which was loose for me but doesn't empahasize my huge bottom. Length was ok for shortie me.

Would have grabbed it if it comes with lining cos at least it justify paying $26 vs $15/$20 for bandage skirts found at Bugis Street imo. This was priced at $31.90 at Kissjane.

Oh well money saved for future buys I guess.

OTD

Wore this combination again the other day. Whole outfit only cost me $26, purchased separately. Collared-tip top with slight pleats at the top is made from those rough chiffon and only $8 from Bugis Street and can be paired with so many stuffs from my wardrobe. Think its quite obvious that I'm a pencil & bandage skirt lover ya eventhough I have a huge bottom.

Still trying to familiarise myself with blogger. Anyone can advise how I can get the labels to appear at the side? Am such an IT dummy.

Enjoy the rest of your day dearies (=

TVD Upcoming Designs

Colours for the High Society Maxi Skirt are Black, Pansy Purple, Iris Blue and Forest Green (from left to right). Do note that colours are not as brights as those shown in the previews.

High Society Maxi Skirt in Pansy Purple in S

S was slightly loose for me so do take note that sizing is larger. You can probably see from the second pic on the top row that the material is quite thin. Eventhough its lined with satin I would still advise seamless due to the thin material. Lining is thicker than the material of the skirt (shown below).

Also tried Forest Green but only M was available on the racks so excuse how large it look on me.

Unsure if I should get this skirt though. Black would be a classic and easier colour for lazy me.

Priced at $35.90 at Kissjane for those interested.

Meadow Vale Bustier in S/M in Blue/Pink

Also seen above is the Meadow Vale Bustier in S for blue and M for pink which is priced at $30.90 at Kissjane. What I like about the bustier is that there is no wiring or boning so ladies with larger bust need not worry about the wiring or boning poking them. Bustier wasn't padded.

Size S PTP was ok for me but waist was slightly tight while M was too loose. Straps are not adjustable and was too long for me.

Below are clearer pictures of the bustier in blue paired with pleated paperbag skirt, launched previously.

Hope this review is still in time for those still considering like me (=

LB Taffie Top in Neon Green

Finally wore the Taffie Top after letting it hibernate in my wardrobe. Chose bright colours to chase Monday blues away.

Got this during the restock special a while back. Was not sure whether I was a size S or M based on measurements but decided on M in the end for a comfy fit. Should have grab Size S instead as the shoulder cutting is quite broad and I feel like the sleeves will slip off. The length is a tad long for my preference but I can just fold it inwards.

Material is cooling and not thick. Would have preferred if the material was thicker as my the top outline of my bra could be seen. Wore a black tube under to solve the problem and to test how sheer it was. Overall a good basic to have in your wardrobe especially if you grab the safer colours which I wasn't quick enough to do so.
